Phedimus Spurius

This sedum comes from northeastern Turkey and the Caucasus, where it grows in subalpine meadows to Armenia and northern Iran. Phedimus Spurius (Sedum spurium) is a species that is naturalized in this country and is found in various sunny places, often on foot sklantých departments. Phedimus Spurius creates a dense, compact stands of creeping succulent stems, up to 30 cm long, at the end are rosettes of succulent leaves. It grows 5 to 15 cm in height. The sun needs to grow, otherwise the plants pull. From June to August pinkish white flowers, and pink flowers grouped in dense, flat culminating.

Sedum is easy spurium species, but for growing in the rockery is not suitable. In a very short period of their underground rhizomes proroste between the stones among the other plants.
