Sedum aytacianum

aytacianum Sedum is a newly discovered aytacianum, (1994) alpine species growing in Turkey, in the northeastern part of Anatolia. It grows at altitudes of 1900 m in limestone screes, gravelly slopes and rocks. It forms a dense carpet of miniature rosettes of succulent fresh green color. Height of the whole plant does not exceed 1 cm. Flowers are white, pětičetné, the star up to 7 centimeter inflorescence.

The plant requires good drainage to winter waterlogging in summer, plenty of moisture. Sedum aytacianum is very attractive and increasingly rare type of cultivation. For its small appearance and hardiness to fit into the rocks and into holes and decorative bowls.
