Sedum populifolium
Sedum populifolium
When I once saw in a magazine photograph of stonecrop, it was clear that I have. Hylotelephium populifolium is completely defying the conventional ideas about plants of the genus Sedum. Form a woody shrub with significantly stopkovitými leaves and slightly fragrant flowers. When grown in a sunny location with significant reduction of toppings, you get a nice hardy succulent bonsai specimen.
None has so stopkovité seven leaves. In some soils the flowers are more pink than white, but purple threads, and always give flowers white petals pink tinge. When grown in full sun, form a compact woody shrub in the shade creates a lush growth of clusters. In winter, including part of the herb leaves and the plant dies Winters adventitious buds on the woody parts. These buds are sprouting again in spring.
H.populifolim for rock gardens is unusual and smooth.
